ABOUT THE BEND MEDIA + PRODUCTIONS
THE BEND MEDIA + PRODUCTIONS is a digital production group focused on commercial, creative, and digital humanities projects. Formed in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2015, we provide digital platforms for artists, small business and corp clients, and cultural and educational non-profits.
We offer end-to-end video support: from research, fixing, and pre-production, design, capture/filming, and post-production, presentation and platforming services.
Videography, photography, and aerial imaging for New Orleans businesses, creative, and cultural clients is the front end of our work. Our goal is to make compelling images that drive engagement, document history and creativity, and provoke critical conversations. Producing and editing in-house ensures that our work has a consistent voice, but every deliverable is a collaborative effort. If the story is right and/or the money is right, we get the job done on time and on budget.
Behind the scenes, conceptualizing a longer video project requires research, planning, budgeting, and effective communications. The Bend Media + Productions develops and staffs workflows for live event captures, narrative and documentary films, festivals, commercial services/products, and educational videos.
Presentation design and digital media packaging is the back end of our work. Our team develops workflows for regional, national, and international film festivals, and we work with filmmakers to deliver their products to clients and audiences. The Bend Media + Productions offers post- authoring, graphics design, digital archiving, DIT/media management, cinema-ready DCPs and Blu-rays, festival packaging, and projection.
